DISPATCH OF STUDY MATERIALS

Study guides are dispatched from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. To ensure that materials are sent prior to the beginning of the study period we ask that you have your enrolment application to the Chifley Client Care Centre by 2nd June 2008.

If enrolment applications are received after this date, Chifley cannot guarantee that students will receive their study materials prior to the start of the study period.

The dispatch of study guides occurs in unit batches. If you have enrolled in two units and your study materials do not arrive at the same time, please wait one week before contacting the Client Care Centre.

The delivery of study guides in Australia is done using Australia Post and can take up to 2 weeks to deliver. Students residing overseas will have their study guides or update material delivered by courier. It is critical for overseas students to provide us with a street address not a PO Box address to deliver. Failure to provide us with a street address will result in the delivery of your material by post.

If you do not receive your study material by the start of the Study Period and you have sent your application in by the due date, you should check first with your post office or internal mail system (if your preferred address is your business address) to verify that they are not holding it, then contact the Client Care Centre.

Missing information from your study material

If any component is damaged or missing from your study guide material, please contact the Client Care Centre via e-mail: mba@chifley.edu.au, phone: +613 9695 8855 or fax: +613 9695 8901.

EXTENSION OF TIME

Time Limit
Graduate Certificate – 3 years
Graduate Diploma – 6 years
MBA – 10 years

If you exceed any of these time limits you can apply for an extension of time. An extension of time application must be a formal letter addressed to the General Manager and needs to include the following information:

  • A reason as to why the time limit has been or will be exceeded
  • An estimate of how much longer will be needed to complete an award

Students who are planning on exiting with a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma and have exceeded the time limit for the program will be able to apply for an extension of time.
